Slow Food Tucson and 17th Street Market Cook Up Some Fun
- 17th Street Market will present an exciting international
cooking class featuring Chef Allen Yap from Neo Melaka, a Malaysian
restaurant, and Chef Ryan Jarrell from Vila Thai. The day will
begin with the local Chefs giving us a tour of the market where
they will unlock the mystery of the ingredients used in these
two Southeast Asian cuisines. Our cooking class and lunch will
follow. Beverages will be non-alcoholic drinks from around the
world and bottled water.

Albert Hall will mix cocktails for us from the Bahamas, Brazil,
Costa Rica, England, France, Greece, Peru, and Singapore. Jennifer
English from Flavorbank
will navigate us through the exotic spices that make these cocktails
unique to their origin. The tastings will be accompanied by a
discussion and critique.
