The Tucson Slow Food convivium was created in 1999. Activities have included cooking a Thai meal together, making our own pizza in a woodburning oven, recreating the 2,000 year old funeral feast of legendary King Midas, sipping wines at Callaghan Vineyards in Sonoita, sampling Hungarian goulash made from beef from grassfed cattle, tasting various sea salts from different parts of the world and enjoying a full spread of chocolate in honor of Valentine’s Day.

We’re always looking for new ideas so if you have suggestions, please contact us below and help celebrate the wares of local growers and producers, artisanal products and heirloom seeds and vegetables as well as culinary traditions. Then we’ll get together, lift a glass of wine in a toast and enjoy each other’s company as well as good food and drink!
